"I want to thank the guy's at TopSpeed for all their great work on the car. I was not what you would call an experienced Subaru guy, so wanted to get some professional advice and experience on my side for this project.

I spoke at length with Cicio at TopSpeed, who got me hooked up with a Cobb AP and Doug's pro tune to start. I asked them to work a bit of magic on a stock WRX and I found Doug got a base Dyno reading of 235 whp and 259 WTQ. With just the AP and a couple hours of tuning from Doug on the dyno, we got a nice increase to 270Whp and 290wTQ. But, Doug found that any further gains were being hampered by the fairly restrictive stock downpipe. After the first test drive though and I was extremely impressed by the increase in usable power, and just how smooth the car was after the TopSpeed tune, however as well all do I was quick to for more.

Cicio got me a great deal on a 3" Cobb DP combined with an SPT cat back! So a week later I was back at TopSpeed for the install and back on the dyno for Doug to see what he could do without "restriction". With just another hour or so of tuning and he got a healthy 284whp and 330wtq. That's a gain of nearly 50whp(21% over stock) and 71w ft/lbs ( a cool 28% over stock!) Now this was more like it! Doug took the car with laptop in hand was out on the road for about an hour... after which he pulled up to the back of the shop. After we chatted a bit..he smiled and cautioned me to NOT do any 6000rpm fast launches with all the torque he got from the car, stating that I should be nice to my Tranny! I quickly agreed. After my first drive all I have to say is, boy does it pull!! I feel like I just bought a new car!

Moving onto the suspension and brakes, Cicio suggested a nice set of BC Racing BR Series Coil-overs for the car. I spoke to Doug about possibly adding some bigger sway bars , but he really suggested I probably wouldn't need to go anything over the stock set up, as the Coil-overs would be a huge difference in handling. Boy was he right. With the suspension set and dialed in by the suspension tech Adam, and a alignment sporting just a wee bit of neg. camber at the front... I have all sorts of adjustment! Excellent over the road ride and cornering with no harshness unless I want to dial down the struts to full on. I am very excited to track this car so the next step was making it stop! A full set of StopTech brakes would do the trick! The deal that Cicio gave me just blew me away, I couldn't say no! With those installed the car really is the full package!

Overall, I am so very pleased with all the work the guys at TopSpeed Inc have done. All the guys Doug, Cicio, Adam and the gang are great guys to work with and be around. I couldn't have got this kind of performance without their professionalism and knowledge of the car.

Next step is going to be a 20g turbo upgrade along with an aftermarket topmount intercooler. Then I am done....if thats possible."
